When Alwaleed Philanthropies was founded on 01/01/1980, it was with the firm conviction that non-profit humanitarian work complements for-profit commercial work.
From this standpoint, by the end of the fortieth year since the founding of Alwaleed Philanthropies and the beginning of humanitarian work, we were able to reach more than one billion beneficiaries worldwide.
This success is the result of hundreds of partnerships, spearheaded by 10 Saudi women led by the Secretary General of the Alwaleed Philanthropies Foundation, Princess Lamia bint Majid Al Saud.
We look to the future with great optimism and strive to engage with it actively and effectively with the aim of serving humanity and providing everything that is necessary, whether locally or regionally, in the Arab world or globally.
